I was interviewed by the www.TimesOnline.co.uk for an article called 'What not to do at work social' , I hope it will amuse you ;-) My feeling about this topic, was that the main risk with work social events is that it is too easy to lull yourself into a false sense of security that you are out with your friends and so can really let your hair down. At Wigadoo we put a high value on the time that we get to spend with our close friends . There's nothing better than feeling that you are amongst good old friends , who know you inside out and not matter how you behave you know that they won't judge you because they love you for who you are (cheesy but true , don't you think?) And anyway , they've probably seen you do worse before! The risk with work dos is that you think you are in this lovely safe cocoon , that is socialising with your friends, especially the case if the 'free' booze has been flowing and before you know it you are acting the idiot and embarrassing yourself in front of your bosses and colleagues, and making yourself the focus of all the office gossip! Don't say you haven't been warned ;-)
